Cubs Behaviour Policy
All children have a right to enjoy their time in Cub Scouts, without it being spoiled by the behaviour of other children. In recognition of this, we have developed a behaviour policy, stating what we consider to be unacceptable behaviour, and how we will deal with such behaviour.
The following behaviour is all considered unacceptable:
- Fighting
- Bullying
- Name calling
- Wasting the time of other Cubs
Any Cubs seen taking part in this sort of behaviour will be given a warning, a repeat of such behaviour will result in a ban for one week from Cubs.
In the case of fighting, both or all participants will be warned, and/or banned, as there is no way to determine whose fault it is. If a Cub is repeatedly banned, then they may be asked to leave the Pack.
Warnings may be given by the Cub's Sixer, a parent helper, or a uniformed Leader. Bans will only be given by one of the uniformed Leaders.
In the case of a Sixer or Seconder being banned, they may also lose their position. This will be considered in discussion with the other Sixers.
