Cubs Media Policy
Photographs are often taken at Cub Scout activities, which are used for displays within the Scout hut, and also on our Group website. While we have no control over pictures taken by people outside of our Scout Group, if you would not like photographs including your child to be placed on the website, in promotional material produced for use outside of the Group, or included in press releases sent to local newspapers, please speak to one of the Leaders.
Where photographs including children are placed on the website, no names are used which could identify individual children in the pictures. In the very rare occasions that a child's name is used on the website, only their first name is given, and never alongside or connected to any photograph that could identify that child.
Where a press photographer is at a Cub Scout event, names and ages will usually be supplied to the photographer on request.
